What we do differently
Generalist agencies have to guess what a freight buyer cares about. We don’t. We know shippers search "ITAR customs broker" more than "customs broker for defense." We know a Radiant station has corporate branding rules that kill half the SEO playbook. We know ocean freight landing pages convert best when they lead with lane options, not value props. Every engagement starts from that kind of knowledge, not from a generic SEO checklist.
How we run client work
We cap the client list at a number we can do real work for, currently under ten. Every retainer gets two pages rewritten or published per month, a monthly report showing rankings plus AI citations plus quote-request attribution, and one 30-minute call to review what moved. When something isn’t working, we name it in the next report, not six months later.
Who’s behind Autera
Autera is run by Greg Baehr out of Maryland. Before Autera, background in building operational tooling and content systems for logistics and freight operators. Every website, SEO program, and automation system is built in-house. No offshore content mills. No white-label reselling.
What we say no to
E-commerce brands. SaaS companies. General B2B. Growth-stage "everyone" clients. We’d be worse at that work than the agencies who specialize in it, and you’d be worse off hiring us for it. If that’s you, we’ll send you to an agency we actually rate.
